Dorismar Rivera

Hello! My name is Dorismar Rivera! I go by she/her pronouns and am a first-gen Salvadoran-American! I was born and raised in Houston,TX and I am a rising senior at the University of Houston majoring in communications--Go Coogs!! I am currently the Community Engagement Organizer here at TEJAS and have been a core team member since 2022.

My role consists of creating meaningful relationships with community, as well as participating in and helping coordinate community events, resource fairs and civic meetings. I provide bilingual outreach and resource materials to ALL our communities. I believe that we can empower and uplift our communities with trust, empathy and love. ¡Unidos somos mas fuertes!
